For some strange reason I had the urge to do a portrait of myself last night. At first this might not sound that strange, but considering that I have yet to do street photography with people in the shot, since I do not like taking pictures of people, even less so of myself. I have done some wedding photography e.t.c. for a good and close friend and his wife, so I can do it when "forced" too, just not really on my own (I am hoping to overcome it tho').

When I was setting up the gear for the shot of myself, I was also thinking about ways to do it so I was not really in the shot (it makes sense to me ). This is one of the ideas I had, multiple layers with several processes to get the final image. A bit too dark perhaps but then that fits the times when I mentally collapse into a dark well of despair, I quite like how it turned out (otherwise it would be in scraps if I uploaded it to dA ) and I am considering doing more.

P.S. I should probably have shaved first.
