@ my watchers: THE SPAM IS ALMOST OVER, IM SO SORRY

i had a cool idea to do, like, covers for all my Sonic AUs, but only really got around to doing the Chaosverse one before my chronic pain made continuing impossible. im fine with that, though, bc CV is the main one anyhow and i might try again sometime

the "CAV-4" is because of that idea-- with my boyfriend Jorb's help, we came up with some fancy-sounding "universe designations" for all of the AUs using 3 letters and a number. CAV-4 is the one for Chaosverse!

this was also one of my first experiments with like... actually doing noodle limbs for drawing Sonic stuff? first time in years, anyway. i use a kind of weird hybrid between Sonic style and my furry style most of the time, but wanted to try and nudge it a bit closer to canon to see how it looked. i think it came out pretty okay! plus now cv!Sonic looks way less weird than she usually does.

from left to right:
Sonic the Hedgehog, worldwide hero, trans girl with superspeed that's always able to save the day no matter what stands in her way
Double the Maned Wolf, Resistance rookie, ex-GUN agent with a Variable Wispon and no social skills
Sik the Hedgehog, upbeat go-getter, constantly gets himself over his head and sometimes is able to get himself back out of it

Sonic - Sega, altho this variant is by mathonwys!
