After what happened in Ferron's May assignment , Bastion isn't too happy to see him again... especially when the Lairon pokecat comes dangerously close to the Rocket hideout. And seeing as Ferron already knows Bastion is a Rocket, he sees no reason to play nice to try and maintain his cover. Too bad Ferron doesn't know he's dealing with an Executive, though, or he'd probably try to drag Bastion back to town for another round of interrogation to find out why exactly he's smacking him around.
Bast dislikes violence, but he's not the biggest fan of Ferron either and just wants to drive him off or at least hold his attention until other Rockets come. He's still sticking to just uselessly batting at him instead of using his actual moves, though. Ferron's not too impressed.

And hey, even Executives need to pull their weight, right?

Sorry for not being too active the past month or so. I've been busy, tired, and adjusting to big changes in my life. Drawing this was actually pretty relaxing, funnily enough.
I always love the effect where sunlight filters through the trees, so I tried to emulate that and did that kind of dramatic framing to draw more attention to the action. Then I screwed up and forgot depth perception exists. Welp.
