Well someone asked Jamie why Murdoc calls himself god if he's a Satanist, and Jamie said "Because he's not a very smart Satanist." That had me laughing for a good while. xD

Well some types of Satanism involve seeing yourself as your own personal god and seeing Satan as a symbol of freedom to sin and be free in general (instead of literally worshipping him.)
Another type of Satanism involves actually worshipping the Devil himself (if he's real, awesome, I love him automatically xD)
And who knows? MAYBE MURDOC IS THE FIRST TYPE. Or wait...he made a deal with him before didn't he? Fame for his soul, right? So he saw the guy...hmmmm and yeah, so I guess he's not very smart :3

Well since Gorillaz are cartoons, things tend to manifest around them in strange ways. Murdoc's a complete tit, and Jamie could just be expressing Murdoc's rotting, shriveled soul in a creative way (like the Grinch, almost). But then again maybe he really did chill out with Satan and makes deals with demons. The world may never know. xD
Neither can I, but that doesn't stop me filling up my sketchbook... I have yet to post any sketches here though, but I might if I can figure out how to use my scanner. o-o

Either Muds was on trippy drugs that made him truly believe he was chilling with demons...or maybe it did happen.
The sad thing is the person who introduced me to Gorillaz (well not introduced, I knew them before, but he made me like them) was my ex boyfriend. I have been getting together and splitting apart with him for the past month. Today we called it quits for sure. Now everything reminds me of him. Especially Gorillaz. It's so hard to enjoy the little things in life now when every damn thing is just a mocking memory :/
Either way that's why I love fictional characters. I can love them, draw them, obsess over them and do whatever and they can never hurt me. The only con to that is the fact they aren't real and can never love me back.
Tis better to have never loved a real person at all...
Now please excuse me while I go into my room and sit there crying for the next 3 years, pointlessly about it, like I did with the last guy...

Aww, I'm sorry about all that. :c Don't give up on real people, though. Life's full of ups and downs, it's all part of the ride. Just think of it this way: If you were never sad, when would you ever be happy?
Gorillaz mean a lot to me, evidenced by my fan art and fanfictions and buying their merchandise. xD They might not be real in the sense that they're actual people, but the fans (along with Damon and Jamie, of course) are what make them real.
