This has been a long long long time in the making. I started Russ's sheet over 5 months ago but never progressed cause the pose was so difficult. But then I completely reworked it and voila! 
Also I've actually bothered to draw him naked under that censor but you'll never see it hehehehe.
Funny fact: after drawing so many females, I actually forgot some male anatomy knowledge I had before. So I relearned some stuff and now I think I've improved!
Also out of all my male OC's, Russ is the only one that is inexplicably buff. He doesn't exercise and eats very unhealthy, but it's part of the joke that "he's only that way cause I want him to be" so shhhh.However I gave him super buff legs cause if any part of me would get buff it's the legs cause I've started cycling. My thighs are like fatty concrete now.
I'm still not 100% satisfied with Russ's design, however that's as good as I can get it for now. I may need to get someone else to draw him for me so I can spot any issues.

Unfortunately his wings are far too small to fly, though they do help with gliding (or falling) from a great height. I think he'd look pretty silly if he actually could fly :L

Yeah that always drove me nuts too. I like to have at least a little realism with my characters :L and I did some research for Russ's wings and they're definitely too small to fly. But they can definitely help with gliding.
Though not only are they for show, but apparently they're also very cuddly according to Saphy β₯

Me too. Poig's kind of the same, his wings are too small for him to fly, though they used to be at least three times that size. He's also lost his tail feathers and back rudder.
Maybe Russ likes to fall in style? XD Β So I'm guessing he's a bit like a bird of paradise of peacock in the way he uses his feathers? Heehee, I like dat Is Saphy another one of your characters?

I don't know really, his feathers are just sort of.. there. Like he does stuff normally throughout his day but sometimes those feathers get in the way.
