Capturing-the-Light [2011-11-23 07:23:07 +0000 UTC]

This photograph captures all my favorite components of a fine landscape shot. Trees, mist and delicate light play on the land. Your eyes are drawn initially to the lush green pasture land, where proudly stands the solitary tree, almost like a sentry guarding the land beyond. The swirling mists, and trees rising above create an ethereal surreal feel to the shot. Overall this is a stunning composition, superbly exposed for, for me this really is fine art at its best.
