Aw man, I've learned tons there, and the guys there are really sweet and friendly too. And the oportunities it offers is crazy, I've met so many people, well it's also Berlin, really great city.  It's worth a try : )

well, i had mostly the stuff thats uploaded here before binar and dragonman. I was lucky i guess, since it wasnt really concept art based portfolio.
But if you wanna apply there, then yea, you should definately give concept art a try. since i dont think they do comics much, maybe comic book covers, but mostly character design and illustration. So rendering and a good design sence is definately a factor.
