Artwork for Aqualumina for their exhibition countdown back in May!
My piece is based off Diphylleia, it's a lovely white flower that turns transparent when it touches water and it looks so magical *Q*
I had to rush a little to meet the deadline for submission but I promised myself I would come back and polish up this work because I was really happy with how it turned out. I'm much more satisfied with the end result now C:

It was surprising how much I learnt while revisiting the piece, and it was great fun adding on the lighting and extra effects
//let me tell you I hate sai for not being able to save psds back into sai files it gives me so much pain//

In other words, I recently finished my finals and I'm in my break right now. It's pretty jam packed and I don't know how much art I'll be able to pump out. After my break I'll be moving into my final year of high school! Which is a mildly unnerving thought because I am far from ready 8'D. I have a few family and school situations as well that will affect how frequently I post but I'll leave that information to a later time.
So glad I've finally posted this! I've missed being more active on dA :'3c
