Map about a fictional country: Federal Republic of Aztlan (República Federal de Aztlán in Spanish). It would occupy territories that are part of USA nowadays but were part of Mexico in past. It would be composed of six states and Spanish would be the official language, although English would be used too. It would be friend of Mexico and USA too and mixed culturally. Some cities would be renamed. Federal capital city would be Phoenix (officially Fénix).Related content

In Spanish, both Texas and Tejas are correct. Despite it's recommended to use Texas, Tejas is the most used in Spain. I wanted to remark the Hispanicization of the names.

surprising just how many books and alt-hists this "Atzlan" idea crops up in - ever read "Warday" by Whitley Strieber - set after the U.S. and Soviet Union let fly with their arsenals - the U.S. is hammered some States are acting more like nations, Canada is now top dog in North America and the South West went independent.
