Description
This map is about a possible future scenario. Extreme differences between "red and blue states" would cause the secession of 28 states from the United States of America (USA). Many "red states" would secede but, because of Kansas refusal to leave the union, they would make two different countries: Federated States of America (FSA) and League of States of America (LSA). As a result, Alaska and Hawaii would declare independence (as Republic of Alaska and Republic of Hawaii) and other eight states would secede making other two unitary countries after the merger of the same: Republic of Pacifica and Republic of Colorado. Finally, Kansas would become independent as Republic of Kansas to take advantage of being among four other countries. So, there would be seven new countries:
Republic of Alaska - Capital city: Juneau
Republic of Hawaii - Capital city: Honolulu
Republic of Pacifica - Capital city: Carson City
Republic of Colorado - Capital city: Santa Fe
League of States of America (LSA) - Capital city: Casper
Republic of Kansas - Capital city: Topeka
Federated States of America (FSA) - Capital city: Jackson
