He was once trained to be a fighting and guard dog, but was abonded because of his old age. One day he meets Harutora and Kohri who told him about Hougen and their plans to fight him, so Demon agreed to train them and became like a father figure for Harutora and Demon also saw a son in him. As he later went to Ohu with them he got killed by some of Hougens followers, who were after them. He had stayed back to fight them, but got killed by their platoon leader.
