Just snapping shots with my new camera and my cat Moose wanted to see what I was doing. What resulted was one of the cutest pictures I think I have ever taken. As usual I would love your feedback.Related content

Wow! Nice capture, his expression really does fit the moment, and the position of his paws too. He definitely looks like he's going to make a big move with his queen chesspiece
I love the reflection too, especially of the whiskers - they form a nice symmetry.

Glad you like it! The reflection is actually coming from a 3'X2.5' acrylic sheet! You can pick them up for practically nothing at most hardware stores and some hobby shops. I however "borrowed" this one from work! hehe.

Thank you guys so much! Moose really is a bad ass cat! He tries to outsmart me every chance he gets (and sometimes succeeds)he loves to play fetch and what do you think his favorite treat is? TWINKIES!!!!!

Now that is an incredible picture. He actually looks like he's playing the game! What a poker face, too! I wonder... Chess is fairly simple (though I know there are people who disagree with me). I bet that somewhere in the world, there is a cat who knows how to play it for real! If not, perhaps, on a grandmaster level. I wouldn't put it past a really smart cat to beat me at it, though...

Chess is by far my favorite game of all time and if their is on cat on earth capable of learning to play chess it would be this one! Perhaps I could try to teach him.... Check for updates!
