The sequel to my speculative Therizinosaur drawing. I wanted to highlight the Alioramus and her pesky Pinacosaurus follower. She gives him a glare of contempt to warn him into silence.Related content

The scales are very well drawn.

The armor on her head is there because of how Alioramus has those rigid bumps/horns along the snout. I imagine it to be fortified with large keratin scales exaggerated for an impressive display to other animals.
And yes, this is part of a story in a long ongoing project I am working on. This piece here is like a sort of concept art more than anything. The finished product of the project is going to be a series of large graphic novels. I have a lot of big plans. You're going to be seeing a lot more of these guys later.
