Description
I completely adore these orange beauties. In Swedish they are called Japanska lyktor (Japanese lanterns) but the English name seems to be Chinese lanterns. They are not just beautiful, but apparently carry deep spiritual significance in various cultures as well. One example is the Bon festival in Japan, where they play an important part.I have a small garden where they grow, lots of them. Every autumn I pick enough to fill maybe three of four bowls and glass jugs with the lanterns and use them as decoration inside. And as the image shows (the photo was taken in my garden), they don't mind cold and snow either. They spread their light even then. ❤️☀️
