Brief Description: Jitterbug is a light brown tom with a caramel colored underbelly. He has a mixture of chocolate and milky brown colored spots over his body. His most noticeable spot is over his left eye. Most of his spots are on his hindquarters and the top half of his pelt. He has no spots but one on the right upper side of his underside. His nose and paws are dark like his spots. His eyes are a fresh mossy green and they compliment his colors nicely.

Body Type: Although smaller than the other toms of Streamclan, don't let Jitterbug's size fool you. His greatest skill it his agility due to being small, but he still has to move his legs quickly to keep up with everycat. Because he's gotten used to this, he doesn't have to think about this skill. His muscles are firm, yet not as defined as some of the bulkier toms because that is how he develops. He has a very strong neck and biting into it would be a mouthful. During the seasons when prey is plentiful, he appears to be well fed and a bit on the pudgy side, but not necessarily fat. When prey is scarce, he looks to be very thin like most cats. His ears are more pointed than rounded, and curve well enough for him to be an excellent listener, but he isn't.

Eyes: A mossy green.

Voice: Jitterbug speaks in short, rushed sentences. Sometimes he speaks so quickly it's difficult for other cats to understand what he's saying to them. He has a high voice as opposed to a deep voice.

~  Scatterbrained: Jitterbug is the worst cat to ask when it comes to remembering things. Don't ask him to hold on to important information because it will easily slip his mind. He often forgets where he's buried prey he's caught throughout his hunting sessions. "Where did I bury that vole at... I could have sworn I buried it right here..." What happened yesterday? Forget it! He couldn't tell you if he tried his very best. Say the previous day a rival clan fights with Streamclan. He can't recall any details of the battle, who it was with, or if there was even a battle at all. It takes moons for him to remember the names of his clanmates, so don't take it to heart when he makes a guess at what your name is. "What's your name? Uh- something kit... You're going to have to remind me again young one." he questions, lowering his head to the kit's level. When he's asked to do things by his leader he often doesn't think things through and he ends up making the situation more difficult. "I got it!" he screeches, thundering through the grass on his paws towards the prey, not thinking he'll scare it away. He can't concentrate worth a damn and easily gets distracted at even the slightest sound. Think of it as ADHD.
~  Friendly: "Hello Poppystar! It's such a lovely day isn't it!?" More often than not, Jitterbug will be the cat to approach you. He isn't one to hold a grudge because let's face it, he probably doesn't remember what you did anyway! Forgiveness is always an option with Jitterbug. You'll always see him smiling at you and it's difficult to even catch him frowning. He doesn't care for cats making fun of other cats and he will instantly call them out on it. He won't growl, he wont fight, he'll just point out that the behavior isn't necessary. This cat is all about atmosphere. If you're happy, than this cat is happy.
~  Glutton: Jitterbug LOVES food. During the leaf-bare season, his clanmates get sick of his whining about the scarcity of freshkill in the forest and within the camp. He's always tempted to take a second helping of freshkill, but he knows his clan must be fed first. Around mealtime he'll devour his share of freshkill down the the last scrap of meat, tearing it off the bones to be sure he gets it all.
~  Goofy: To Jitterbug, laughter is the very best medicine and he really enjoys making others smile. He loves to tell jokes and poke fun with his friends. If you're more of an adult cat and good friends with him, he enjoys sarcasm and perverted comments. When his friends are down, he tries as hard as he can to cheer them up. His favorite thing to do is stand on his head. Jitterbug will even go as far as to injure himself to make another cat smile if he's frustrated enough.
~  Restless: It's hard to keep up with Jitterbug because he's always anxious to do something. He always seems busy with what he's doing and he gets bored easily if he doesn't have something to keep him occupied. When he's sitting down, it's difficult for him to keep still and you'll see him squirming in his spot. His tail will thrash around impatiently until he can get up and move again. If you're his apprentice, you'll have to get used to rushing around to keep up with him. You'll never not have anything to do when you're working with him. On the positive side of this trait, Jitterbug will get things done when they need to be done. He offers no physical or emotional rest.
~  Loving: He loves his clan very much and does everything he can to serve his clan. Kits melt his heart, elders make him smile, and he enjoys having long lasting friendships. IF he can remember your name of course! He has great sympathy and sometime empathy with others and he will try his best to see the positive side of the situation. If someone is hurt, even though it isn't his job, he will fuss over them and do what he can to make them better. Jitterbug will make an excellent father because he has a lot of love in his heart to give.
~  Clutz: This cat is the sort that will trip on literally nothing at all. When he's running through the territory, he won't pay any mind to where he's going and won't notice that rock that's a few feet away from him. Some of the time he'll even crash into a nearby bush or tree because he doesn't slow down in enough time to avoid them. If he's fishing, it isn't a surprise if he falls in the water trying to catch a fish. When repairs to the camp need done, there is a chance he'll knock over the entirety of one of the dens.
~  Productive: When something needs to be done, Jitterbug will make sure, even if it takes him a few tries, that it gets done. Because of his restless nature, he doesn't mind being given task after task. He's always asking if there is anything anycat needs.

~Biography~

Kithood: Jitterkit was born the middle kit in a litter of three. He had a brother (Dirtkit) and a sister (Bluekit). From the moment Jitterkit was born, he could never hold still. Even before his eyes were even open, he'd wander from the nest wailing and he'd need to be brought back to the nest. His mother, Tulipnose, had many restless nights trying to get him to go to sleep. The young kit was eager to take on the world. "Come here you jittery scrap!" Tulipnose purred, tugging him back into the nest. This is where Jitterkit received his name. One evening, Jitterkit found his way out of the nursery and the camp and caused his mother to be worried sick about him. When a warrior found him (( Care to be this cat? I'll add you in here! )) and carried him back to camp, he was scolded immeiately. "Just where have you been!?" she hissed, exasperated.
"I went to get you this momma!" he said, holding a Tulip in his teeth. His mother couldn't stay mad at him after her son gave her the flower she loved very much.From then on, Jitterkit was always having to be checked on to be sure that he wasn't wandering off. Jitterkit played nicely with his littermates and the other kits in the nursery and was a friend to all of them.

When Jitterkit was finally allowed out of the nursery to play, he made sure he knew everything about his camp. When he was called inside for the evening, he had to be told more than once. Because he was so restless, looking after Jitterkit was a handful and required a clan effort to kitsit him. When his father, Mudpelt, went out on his warrior duties, he'd always ask to go but the answer was no. Of course a kit couldn't go outside the camp walls! However, Mudpelt was very proud of his daughter and two sons. He couldn't have asked for a better family.

Apprenticeship: At six moons, Jitterkit became Jitterpaw. Jitterpaw was very excited to FINALLY be able to leave the camp! With a warrior of course! He wanted to know everything about his territory. Every blade of grass, every bit of soil, every drop of water, Jitterpaw wanted to know about it. When he was out training with his mentor(?), it was difficult to get him to come back to camp. "We can never have to much freshkill!" he squealed, trying to carry as much as he could inside his jaws.

Mudpelt was already considering retiring when Jitterpaw was a kit. Soon after he became an elder, after serving Streamclan faithfully for many moons, Mudpelt passed away. His mother is old and now rests in the elders den with the rest of the elders.

Warriorship: Jitterbug was very proud of becoming a warrior when he did. He was very excited to finally be a full fledged warrior of Streamclan. It's frustrating for his clanmates to go out on patrol with him because he's such a fuss budget, so some cats try and avoid going out with him. Now that Jitterbug is an older tom, he's started to admire some of the ladies. Much of his admiring is done from afar, because he's nervous about trying to get close to a girl. One Mrs. Right will come, and he will welcome her with open arms.
