Took me around 4 hours to finish.. I know I'm still not good enough with Realism.. Comments and Critiques are always appreciated.

thanks, but traditional media has always taken me a longer time to do. I wasn't complaining but I really would like to enjoy creating them as I sit and draw. At the moment my life won't let me do so, but I'll do some when the time comes. thanks so much for the encouragement!

I totally understand about the time requirement thing--that's one of the reasons I've been such a long time without anything new for my own gallery (too busy in Real Life...). But it's a wonderful process when there is some spare time to do it, I agree. Hope you'll find a little time to indulge, too!

I think this actually looks a lot better by not being exactly like the poster photo. Your version seems darker and more emotional. The character looks much more grim and "mature" compared to the actual poster.
Just my two cents as I think it's really a wonderful piece

I think your realism skills are doing great. Perhaps a bit more contrast around the mouth and nose, but otherwise it's fantastic!

what did you use as your canvas??? i can see some texture back there

Thanks ^^ It's not a canvas, it's a drawing block, the paper's made for oil painting actually, to give more "fabric" feel to the brush that are supposed to be used on the paper. But I used the paper for this painting. I'm actually thinking about blending the shades in this drawing

the texture's from the paper. :3 And thank you so much xD I actually do quite a lot of realism back at school because we have to do it as an assignment and final submission project.. *slits hands* but since I got 4 months of semester break and was hold inside my own room/house/whatever... xD I only did anime style.. which is really getting pretty much boring for me *needs to get a good style for self*

Nooo I'm not a marvel T_T Malaysian children entertainment consists an almost even amount of western/asian animations.. and abit of european, not much.. so I got influenced by that. xD especially Dragon Ball Z ... not until last 2006, we just got Animax on cable.. so... go Animax! <333 hehe. =3

xD Yeah. I actually -read- and -watch- drangon ball from the first appearance of goku until the death of majin buu and introduction of uub, but I didnt continue GT, it's abit crappy.
