*SPOILER ALERT* highly related to the last episodeThis is the first time i ever do a fanart for an anime
I like it so much that i can't help myself
I hope i did justice to Eureka Seven

supplemental (5/27): replaced the file with smaller dimensions so it can fit to some screens. Eureka is supposed to be barefooted, but i can't imagine she has to walk all the way through the journey barefoot, and Renton just ignoring it. XD

i find it funny that i only picked up this series 2 weeks ago. i'm glad i did, as the experience was just something else entirely.
this picture here is definetley what i'd like to think renton and eureka eventually did after nirvash sent them back to the earth to live their lives.

series should have ended this way! drawing is SO cute!
If someone cry when they watched the end of Eureka 7 series then you should not read manga. If in anime everything ended up more or less happy then in manga everything was so sad and wrong! i read manga because i wanted to get more of eureka 7 characters but i wish i would have not read it.
In manga [unlike anime] Dominic died in the last battle [so Anemone could never tell Dominic she loves him], Anemone could never walk again [not so sure], Eureka disappeared but Renton had an nervous breakdown after Eurekas "death".....how you could not cry after this?

I got so sad when Eureka Seven ended...I wanted it to show more, like what happens to them after they did all that they did. I wanted to see them all together again but it didn't show it. Then I watched the movie of it and it was good yet disapointed with it...Considering it was like an alternate version that didn't really have anything to do with the original story...I like your picture though! It made me smile a bit to actually have an image to look at.

This one absolutely rocks man! Eureka is the best anime I've ever seen and it really deserved ending like the one of yours. I searched for this pic since I saw it in one of the fanvids on youtube.
Episodes like Pacific Day or When You Wish Upon The Star are the ones that always make my day. Actually, it was this anime, when I first cried because of a movie. Ending of anime was one of the most beautiful endings of all movies I've ever seen. I just hoped so much that scene like this will be there somewhere in the end.
And...for those who already watched the anime and didn't read manga...(and was so happy about the end as I was)..DON'T READ THE MANGA! Yeah, it clears some things that anime did not explained, but I regret that I read it. First thing that came onto my mind after that was... pure cruelness, injustice and... Why the hell are anime authors so much fond of rewriting already perfect story, most likely into catastrophic scenarios ...I'm not against retelling something but to this extent... And I really hope, a "new mythos" announced for the movie(about which there's no update since about 2006-7), is not to be the manga version.
And when I'm at it... does anyone know what is in the extended version of the last episode(just couldn't find on the net, it's available only through purchase of original japanese version...and also description of episode's content, or exactly what content is extended, is nowhere to be found - I just saw that release in several online anime shops)

The manga has a bit different story than the anime version - i like the anime better.

This is a Anime/manga worthy of being in the top 10 anim and/or manga in the world. P.S. Read the magna. It clears up alot of the confusoin from the end of the Anime.

What ever DID happen to those two? I know Eureka didn't become the control cluster, and I know Gramps mentioned the big bird thing about marriage, and I saw the two of them in the last episode in Bell forest, and yet...
One of the kids wished on a star that one day they'd come back...I took that to mean something'd happened to them...

I watched the japanesse version with english subtitles. What exactly happened to Eureka and Renton after the type zero becomes the control cluster? Great piece though.

There was a scene at the end, It showed them both standing alone in the forest. You know... a little alone time. I wish they would have used a scene like this one right at the end...

Well from what I read of people reviews on tv.com They apperantly fell back to earth and where in what looked like the forest outside bellforest(or however you spell it) But it seems to be implied that they were alive and happy.
