Thought I'd let you know about this kid and his group. Important character because things happen.

Dyed Platinum at ends and black on top.WEAPONS:+ VIOLIN - Jaevis has the ability of sound, and can use this magic violin of his to channel out his abilities through the soundwaves. Whether it be darkness, illusion or infernal voices, his violin has is special because it was made out of huge demon bones. It is imbued with dark magic, and if he plays it right, it can disorient angels or even deafen lesser angels.
+ HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT - Jaevis may not be as strong as other Sages, but he is stronger than the normal human. He doesn’t rely on powerful blows, but speed. He uses quick attacks to bring his opponents down.
+ SMALL HOOKS - These hooks are attached to long chains that Jaevis hides under his hoodies. They are only about as big as his palm, and he uses these for ripping off parts of his opponents. He usually uses these at close range or when he rips out someone’s face or eyes.
+ MAGIC ATTACKS - Jaevis isn’t as good in physical fighting as he is in magic fighting. He uses magic and tricks to make up for his physical lacking. His Magic ability is more powerful than his physical ability.
+ DEVAS - They aren’t much of a weapon, but these two Devas named Diva and Koga are his ‘guardians’ and have been since childhood. They are stuck to Jaevis’ Shadow and they hide in it, only showing up when he is in a tight situation or cornered. Jaevis can give them orders, since they are bound to him and he is their master. He can separate them from his shadow and they fight separately. They are mostly used when Jaevis is alone and very outnumbered by other Sages or Witches.
+ CURSED OBJECTS - He curses his coins and pennies, making them look harmless. He has the ability to sneak them into the clothes or bags of humans who are bothering him and whatnot, leaving them bad luck or cursed to die. He doesn't see much importance in this, only when he was in Middle School until College. In School, he was relentlessly bullied, so he used these cursed objects and even cursed the objects and clothing of his bullies, whether girl or boy they either had eternal bad luck or instant, bloody death.
ATTRIBUTE:+ OBSCURI - Jaevis is MUCH MORE powerful in dark, shaded, shadowy areas where light doesn’t hit. When he is in the dark, he mostly uses his violin to play mind tricks or deafen and explode the senses of his opponents. Also, the darkness serve as fuel for Diva and Koga, his Devas. The darkness enhances his other abilities.
+ AQUAE - His water ability is special, as it can work as ‘acid’ to his opponents, melting forcefields and even their familiars. He has yet to reach the age where this attribute will mature as well and he can even melt angel wings. This attribute also helps him to breathe in water. Puddles are also a way for him to move from one place to another. His abilities are also more powerful when it’s raining.
+ CRYSTALLA - His Ice ability is quite different, since he can use the ‘cancel’ aspect of his magic to ‘freeze’ or block out the abilities of both him and his opponent. This though, might leave him more in a disadvantage since he’s more powerful in magic. As a resort, he uses his Devas IMMEDIATELY to attack his opponents. If in darkness and he is outnumbered, he can cancel out ALL their abilities and he resorts to his Devas, which don’t require magical ability, but just normal talking and conversation.
+ ANIMUS - He can put someone under his control by just glaring at them right in the eye. He can choose his targets and if they have a weak psyche against him, they are helpless until he lets them go.
+ TACITUS - This ability of his is connected to Aquae. He finds a small puddle or a wet ground or area to "teleport" to another area. He himself cannot bend reality to teleport normally. He needs to be near water to use his Tacitus ability.
+ PRAESTRIGIAE - He has powerful magic abilities, especially in Darkness. Here, he uses illusions that drains eyesight and sanity, completely drying up the brain and killing his opponents.The strength of his illusions depend on how dark it is and if it's a closed area. He can only stall opponents when there is much light.
SKILLS:+ LESSER SUMMONING - Jaevis has the ability to summon 15 lesser demons to do his bidding, and he has the power to eliminate them immediately should they go against his orders. It is called lesser summoning because he can raise lesser demons, duh. All the time, whenever he uses this, they are different demons. He doesn't need to use summoning rituals, just a certain tapping pattern on a surface by either his fingers or feet.
+ NECROMANCY - He can haunt others by raising the dead. He can taunt his targets using this, and he can use these as decoys.
+ EVIL EYES - Jaevis can see someone's greatest fears and secrets if he gazes into their eyes. However, he needs to exert much effort with his magic if the target's psyche and will are strong against his. He uses this ability to get back at people, and also, strike fear into his targets by 'refelecting' their secrets and fears through his eyes.
+ TELEKENESIS - He has strong Telekenesis that makes up for him not having superhuman strength that normal sages do. He uses this ability to make use of the environment as 'shields' against his opponents' attacks. He also uses this to throw his targets around and break their bodies on hard surfaces.
+ MIND CONTROL - He has the ability to control someone's mind and make them his 'puppet'. However, this solely depends on how strong his target's mental will is. If they are normal, scared humans or children, they are helpless against his ability. When he was in school, he used this to get back at his bullies by making them turn on each other.
+ CURSES AND KARMA - He can curse objects in an instant. He doesn't write down someone's destiny and fate, but by cursing the person he can change it since they die earlier. He's smart enough to make use of the most unlikely things to actually be cursed. He can also curse someone by placing a drop of blood on their belongings, making the target bleed to death. If he uses this against other Sages and Witches, there are chances he may win, but it's very risky for him.
AFFINITY: Tenebris - Sage - Grand Master of the Lockyear Family (Abdicated)CONTRACT: Berith (?)RELATIONS:+ BERITH - He had tried to push Berith away ever since he found out he was chosen by her to be the next Grand Master of the Lockyear Family. He kept her away for as long as he could, only talking to her inf she managed to break through his barrier spells. He didn't want the position, and Berith only pushed him more. He got fed up with her and only told her he'll just train under her, nothing more. "Torture me in Hell, even. I'm not going to do it." he threatens her. He won't lie, there had been sexual tension between the two, but he let his barrier spells and free will take over him rather than sleep with her. Jaevis wanted a normal life, and Berith wasn't giving it to him much. It was only after the death of someone precious that he broke down and started taking things seriously, yet, he still did not accept his role as Grand Master due to the level of disarray in his family; because of this, they finally found each other on mutual terms. They found feelings for each other soon after.
+ DANIEL LOCKYEAR - Jaevis had always loved his younger cousin. They treated each other like siblings, and they had grown up together. Both are protective of each other, but there is some 'barrier' between them. Daniel is thinking about becoming Grand Master, while Jaevis wants a normal life. They were both chosen by Berith themselves, and Daniel was willing. Jaevis was afraid that he would only walk straight to his death and organizing the family, and tried convincing him that they should be left to themselves since they have each other and they don't need to follow tradition. Daniel disagrees with him on this, but he sees it reasonable enough.
+ RIKKI YOUNGE - These two have known each other since Nursery. Jaevis had always been aware and seen Rikki's wings, pulling them and pranking him whenever he can. Rikki has always been that person Jaevis can cry to, keep his secrets and frustrations. Heck, Rikki's one of those tho Jaevis doesn't mind being hugged by. Rikki had become his 'Right-Hand' when they came of age, and there is this profound bond between them that was established since childhood. Jaevis considers himself lucky that Rikki is supportive of him having his free will. They have this ambiguous relationship, not like Jaevis already has one with Sierre.
+ JEREMIEL COE - Jaevis and Jeremiel share this 'okay' friendship. They aren't very close, but they are not disloyal to each other. Despite the evident rift between them, they have trust in each other, and when the group is together, they are friendly with each other, and are close enough to see and know each other's good and bad spots. Jeremirl doesn't see Jaevis as a superior figure, nor does Jaevis see Jeremiel as a subordinate figure, thus they are on equal ground. However, when crisis is a coming, Jeremiel puts up the Boss-Subordinate relationship, even if Jaevis isn't up for that kind of thing.
+ CHIRON LEE - Jaevis always saw Chiron as the 'leader' of the group, and respects him in that way. They have a friendly relationship, and are actually more friendly with each other than expected. Chiron understands Jaevis' free will, but pretty much warns him of his choices as well. They're pretty much liking the idea of being stupid with each other, since they's randomly look at each other and just laugh.
+ SIERRE CHO - Sierre has to pretty much be his best friend second to Rikki. His relationship with Sierre is just as vague as his with Rikki, since they're seen to have more physical contact with each other that can pass to Jeremiel as 'skinship' and to Chiron, 'gay'. It doesn't help either since Jaevis first saw Sierre as a girl (even the name confused him.) They're pretty close, and Sierre can be seen whispering things into Jaevis' ears and the both of them in their own little world. The rest of the group actually question Jaevis saying he's closer to Rikki.
+ CASSIEL - Now this certain Angel had enjoyed messing his dreams, randomly appearing out of nowhere. She is aware she should not intervene in the cosmos, but she pities Jaevis for not seeing the bigger picture in things and would like to tell him straight up in the face about it. She would see herself as rude to do that, and thus just created this friendly acquaintance with Jaevis herself. Jaevis doesn't trust her very much, and is not very personal with her. They can only communicate with each other in his dreams.
+ SASHKIA AKHATOVA - Jaevis has a burning hate for Sashkia, and has a desire to kill her. He had been tracking her down since the incident, and swore to be the one to personally throw her soul into Hell and torture her until she's broken, feeding her pitiful soul to Cerberus where she will suffer forever. He is more powerful than her, but he 'likes to play with his food before eating it' as he says to her.
+ HENRY KLINER - He has high respects for Henry, and sees him as an idol. It's ironic because Henry is very willing to take on responsibility on becoming the Grand Master of the Kliner Family. He sees him as his teacher, and learns more from him. He appreciated the way he keeps his group together and make them know how to respect each other. Henry on the other hand, respects the youth's decision to not inherit the Lockyears, but considers him a friend.
+ RAIMO AKHATOVA - These two used to be archenemies until Sashkia came into the picture. Once Sashkia pulled his strings, Jaevis lived like Raimo never existed at all. It became so severe that when they met again at the truce, Jaevis actually forgot about him and could remember nothing of him.
PERSONALITY:Jaevis is a strong-willed youth with a mind of his own. He is aware of the times, and thinks he should follow what he wants in life, and not be tied down to what is expected of him. He doesn't like the idea of following Ancient Traditions, but is close-minded on how they affect the world since 'he couldn't care less about their unimportance'. Since finding out about becoming the leader was too much for him, he had developed his own free will and aimed for a safer, normal life. He knew about the trouble and prepared himself for it, but was not up for 'becoming leader'. He is overlooked by the other members because he is 'unlikely' which encourages him more to just leave his position and duty.
He isn't very selfish, considering he puts his friends before himself, but other than that, he's pretty self-serving. He doesn't care much about the family, since they're not really willing to listen to a 'pair of kids' and goes his own way. He knows his powers, and uses them against those who harm him. He bears grudges against his bullies when he was younger, and is one to carry quite a grudge. He carries them to the grave and is remorseless after he kills someone who has done harm to him or people important to him. He's killed a number of humans before, and he didn't really mind, they bothered him and the people he cared for.
The way you treat him affects the way he treats you, so if you treat him bad, you might end up dead.
HISTORY:Jaevis Lockyear was the announced Grand Master of the Lockyears even before his mother conceived him. How? By Berith, who had summoned a metting to the Lockyear family through a dream. She paired off his parents, who intermarried to keep the purity of blood. The other who was the other Grand Master of the Lockyears was his cousin, Daniel, whom Berith named herself as well. The family didn't take it well that she announced that the unborn would be the next Grand Masters, and thus they became into disarray. This was the first time that Berith announced Unborn Members would become the heirs, nobody knew how to take it. They were a close-knit family, but hey never were too accepting of anything new in Tradition. His parents didn't care though, they were happy they were chosen to raise the new Leader.
He was born to two British (the Lockyears are mainly British) Tenebris in Salvation, Iowa. However, it was a bad choice of birthplace, as the Candor and Angels were all over the place. Before Jaevis parents could be found out, they had moved over to New Jersey, where Daniel was born. They were considerably safer there in the outskirts of the city and far from the suburbs, where they could safely train the young Jaevis. The Lockyears were never that physically strong, but their powerful magic abilities made up for the lacking. (ALL Lockyears are also known to be musically inclined) Jaevis showed a lot of promise at a young age, and his parents were very proud and surprised. Berith had a good choice, they didn't know though, how he'd react when he would learn the truth. Jaevis was taught the ways of his family, their tradition and history, and knew just the right lies to tell the people in school about his family. He found out when he was 4 he had these 'imaginary friends' who introduced themselves and Diva and Koga, and those were his Devas,
The 'Normal Life' for Jaevis didn't go all that well. It was okay when he was younger, but when Middle School came, he was bullied and made fun of by both boys and girls for his eyes. Rikki and Daniel would protect him, of course, but he had to fend for himself. Some boys who thought it was fun to throw his bag around met their deaths in his hands, since he was very good at cursing others with objects like coins. Because of this treatment, he became vengeful and angry. Anybody who hurt him Rikki, or Daniel usually ended up dead. It got worse during High School, when the kids made so much fun of him it became a thing. By this time, Jaevis had learned to control minds and whatnot, making even worse curses and hexes that they would cough up human hearts, brains or intestines if they said something bad about him. And if they physically hurt him, their skin would melt and fall. By 15, Jaevis started having dreams of Hell, and sometimes this Angel. Mainly, it was in Hell, where he'd met this woman in a red dress, introducing herself as Berith, his Guardian. For a year, she unraveled the truth about him and his devas, immediately when she said Grand Master, Jaevis said 'No' and left. Over the next year, he still trained, and met Chiron Lee, Sierre Cho and Jeremiel Coe, and they became his and Daniel's Guardians. He wasn't up for being 'Leader' and left that job to Daniel.
The other three (Chiron, Jeremiel and Sierre) were aware of who Jaevis and Daniel were, and tried becoming friends with them, Andromalius splitting them up to equally be advisers and guardians to the two leaders-to-be. Jaevis had his own ways, and made himself stronger not for the family, but protect himself and his group. The more he said 'No' to Berith, the more he tried bending his groups loyalty to 'Free Will' and to 'not follow tradition because it's not important anymore'. There was a bit of truth in what he said, but it didn't change because Daniel disagrees with him. He thought he would go on a good hunt or five when he's free, and he's been living as a bounty hunter for the past 8 years. Berith appeared to him again, and he put up barrier spells against her, wanting nothing to do with her and the Lockyear Family. He knew what they saw him as, and he didn't care. Even after his parents' death, he still didn't budge, but kept fighting for them. What he didn't know was he was getting into very serious shit about to go down, as the Tenebrian Witch Hunts were coming up for a Round 2.
He didn't know, and left the Lockyears to themselves, going his own way, and dragging his group along with him.
BONUS FACTS:+ When he was in school, everyone thought he was a freak because of his red eyes and the bad luck and death of the people who bullied him.
+ Jaevis' can see perfectly during night time and when it's pitch black. This as well, are when his abilities are at their strongest, the darker it is, the more powerful he is. They also become stronger if he's near water or any liquid. If it's acidic, those are pluses for him.
+ Malphas was his classmate for his whole high school life, since the demon found this as a way to help himself study humans //shot//
+ His nicknames are 'Jae' and 'JV' (I find the JV funny alright)
+ He usually wears hoodies to hide his weapons - u -
+ He's already 25, but he's physically 15
+ He bears an eerie, eerie resemblance to the Lockyear Grand Master during the Witch Hunts, Jethro Lockyear.
+ He keeps a Hellgate below his house
+ He can open a Hellgate at will and go back and forth from it. He IS a Grand Master of one of the 7 Prominent Tenebrian Familes anyway.
+ He can sense Rifts, but he cannot see Rifts.

I know magulo yung story niya, pero there's a lot of detail eh, I wanted to keep it as short as possible. His parents were killed when he was 19, kase he was found out by the Akhatova.
Meron din na he was seen as the 'Demon Spawn' because of his red eyes. He didn't make much friends kase the kids who bullied him ALWAYS ended up dead. As in bloody deaths. Kahit sa classroom o sa cafeteria, basta kung saan mamatay sila! There was this one time na may popular girl who insulted him severely during a discussion in Religion and the insulting came from the 'Demon Spawn' nickname he was given. Jaevis cursed her tongue by cursing a lollipop she ate a while ago, and she vomited blood that was full of weird maggots and TONGUES. LIVING, MOVING, TONGUES. She died on the spot, and Jaevis didn't have to say anything, he was JUST LOOKING AT HER

He knew Henry as his private Music Teacher and mentor. Henry is actually 90 years old but he is physically 30, and his 'age' is 35. Henry visited Jaevis since he was a kid, but Jaevis had little memory of him until he turned 12.

We were doing some groupwork about Augustinian values, then my friend Alec, classmate and groupmate din pushed me to him and told him to hug me for the presentation. sure, he did it, but after that he took off his jacket, ran to his seat and covered his face.

Well, back to my characters because I need to let off steam by talking about them lol because moods are being all UGHBDHUAFDKAHJDA
Sierre is a 23-Year Old hunter and Herbalist, well the son of hunters and herbalists and what not. For most of his life he's been hunting demons, until 7th Grade he met Jaevis Lockyear and befriended him. Since Jaevis was human, it was okay for Sierre, but he suddenly stopped hunting demons and he didn't understand why. He found a way to control them and kill people, apparently he has this sadism syndrome and whatnot, and instead of using demons, he learned from Amdusias to make poisons and very deadly ones at that.
He knew he was being manipulated, but he somewhat felt that he can't and won't leave Jaevis. He can't bring himself to, and it's not because he got too deep into the demon thing, he felt like he belonged there. Sick, I know, but he was willing to risk it all for a friend.
Recently, he's been trying out ways how to make "Angel bombs" or in other words, some compound that kills Angels.
