At the present time he's only 14 years old and is the 11th Vongola Storm Guardian. He's Naoyuki Kijou and Hayato Gokudera's eldest biological son. (Because Aleksander is their adopted one) He has an older brother (adopted) Aleksander, and a younger one (Biological) Nowaki. He has both Storm and Cloud Flames, and uses guns as his weapons. He uses different handguns and machine guns, and at special times, rocket launchers and shotguns, his least favorites. As for box weapons he uses a Flame Enhancing shape-shifting Gun (in the initial form of a revolver) and a Reeve's Pheasant.

Likes: Guns, mechanics (he's very close to Rafael, my 10th Adalfiere Thunder Guardian) European food, boots, Renaissance Art, getting missions, being affirmed, his brother (he truly loves his younger brother and never wants to leave him) Hot chocolate, rebel-like clothes, beaches, the ocean, mountains and lakes, getting adrenaline rush, fast-paced missions, trolling people

Dislikes: VERY NOISY PLACES (he hates it) people he doesn't trust who get close to his brother, stupid and dense people, other women, fake metals, his schoolmates (he thinks they're all stupid compared to him), seeing Nowaki fight (he gets SUPER DUPER ANXIOUS), mathematics (but he excels in it), school in itself, being forced to do things he doesn't want to do, being pestered, his father's expectations

His personality is similar to his mother's personality. He has a distaste in people and usually tends to be alone if he doesn't trust other people. He sees people as inferior usually, and tends to put them down. He is sarcastic and cynical, and has a twisted pleasure in insulting and trolling people. He doesn't like being with crowds and distances himself from others, with the exception of his Adalfiere family side. Hayate doesn't like talking and is very calm and collected. (on the outside) He isn't too close to the Vongola, despite being their Storm guardian, it is just that he feels that he shouldn't be there if nothing serious is going to happen, and only appears in crucial events. He is, despite of his cold, untoward personality, considerate of the 11th Vongola boss, and his best friend in the Vongola (Apparently, his boss is the only one he opens up to.) It is even said he is even more suited to be their Cloud Guardian, but his Storm like attributes win over. He is easily irritated and can get very physically violent. His short fuse has made him unapproachable, but he likes it that way. He makes sure not to be too connected with others as much as possible.

But surprisingly, to a few people and most of his allies and relatives in the Adalfiere Family, he is very open with them and really enjoys their company. They crack jokes and go on trips or gimmicks one way or another to show they're actually close. It is shown he seems to trust the Adalfiere family more, because he grew up around them, and not that much on the Vongola side except for Tsuna's and Yama's kids.

Despite his cold and distant personality, he actually goes out of his way to aid his friends and allies when they really need it or when it is very urgent. During those times he becomes fiercely protective and gives it his all, but after the deed has been done, he walks away like nothing happened. Mentally, he hopes through what he does in tight situations show the Vongola that they even have importance to him, not because of his father's expectations for him. Initially he was never a team player and was usually a soloist. But as time passed by, he seems to be hanging out with people more, and opening up to them little by little. And when the time came, he was seen with the Vongola 24/7 and trolling on Yamamoto's child and being very open and smiling a lot.

Why? Because he doesn't really smile. Unless he actually feels like it.

In the future, he is still very sarcastic and cynical, but is now open to others and protective of others openly and now very loyal to the Vongola. He is less antisocial, and a lot more accepting to people. He talks more but still keeps his calm demeanor which isn't as cold as he was when he was 14. This time around, he is more open with his boss and other guardians, and even cares for them openly to the point when he'd dare to risk his life for them. He's now sharper during emergencies and is more intuitive and patient with others. He maybe a little distant from everyone still, but it's because he's having a struggling relationship with his younger brother Nowaki, who is now the Boss of the Adalfiere Assassination Squad OMBRA. He is more frank, less mean, not afraid to speak his mind, and shows more emotion compared to when he was 14. Right now, his worrisome personality for his brother is even more evident than ever, due to their struggling relationship. Though he is always reassured, he cannot easily shrug off his bad feelings.
