Yeah, my septum piercing I had for about 4 hours then had to take it out due to wonkyness and work T_T damn you world!

You do realise that you can have real trouble with hand pricked tattoo's.

Ok some info about tattoo's, when they are hand pricked it is hard to gauge the depth you have put the ink into the skin, which is important, if you look at skin in crossection it looks like a brick wall but the cells that give this effect are further apart as you get deeper down in the skin. The deeper the ink is put into the skin the further apart the cells are this means that the ink can spread out more which will make the tattoo design become blotchy and indistinct. I only know of a few really good handpoking tattoo artists, in fact a lot of hand done tattoo's are actually done by a technique called tapping. Also sunbathing will fade tattoo's more quickly as well, if you go sunbathing it means that the skin regenerates quicker and that means the ink effectively sinks into the skin quicker. Also Indian ink is thinner than tattoo ink and therefore will spread in the skin quicker than tattoo ink.
