Great piece Matt but shouldn't it be titled "Good"Friday
because only God is good as Christ stated.
"Why do you call Me good?" Jesus asked him. "No one is good but One--God. Luke 18:19
What Christ did in his life and on the Cross was and is good.

In the Luke verse, I think, Jesus was more or less implying to who he was. As he did with his disciples, when he asked, "Who do you say that I am?" Wanting them to reach that obvious conclusion.
John 1:1,14
1.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
