I love the lines at the bottom. I think it all fits, the shapes and such. The only thing I don't feel goes are the words. I mean, I like the words or rather the message, but I don't like that you have them in the rectangles. (not exactly sure how to describe that correctly XD)
Other than that, I really like this piece. I always love it when I see new works from you in my messages. Makes me get all excited.

I've never tried minimal. I love looking at some minimal things though. : )

Interesting composition! I like the minimalistic gradient with an interesting image in the center idea. I get the message. Text with the square background behind it is neat, might try widening the squares a bit, just a thought.
The dotted line shapes are really cool, I like that level of detail! However the long dotted line at the bottom feels a bit out of place. Maybe match the size of the line with the shapes or do something different, that's just my take on it.
Overall, it's a good image. Keep on at it, as you said, it's all about progress
