the paint is sticky for a long time. even after it dries over night.

it takes a long time to dry. silver is different than non-metallic colors.

I think it looks quite cool, but silver on wood is always going to cause problems, but if you're not happy with it, perhaps a mid grey might work?

it can only be silver. it actually looks better to me a few days after the fact. sometimes you need to just walk away for a while....
