these are part of a 4 panel "Peanuts style" strip made into 10 X 10 inch shadow boxes. all of the pieces were made seperately and cut out of wood. then the pieces were wood burned and put into the boxes at different depths. this is a piece that will be featured at the "monsters of art" show at cyclops studios in san francisco. this was a ridiculously difficult project, though the result has the simplistic look of a schultz strip. poor woodstock, we all die in the end....Related content

thanks. that piece(s) was for a halloween art show in SF. it paid off cuz it got the attention of an owner of one of the best art galleries in California.

the whole set rocks.. I love the little woodstalk. how do you do wood burning exactly?

you burn the image on wood with a super hot "pen" that is plugged into a machine. the hot stylus is hard to hold and you cannot make any mistakes. it is very unforgiving.
