the 2017 version of my FTOC Kane.I'm going through and updating all of my FTOC's. this is Kane. his design is mostly unchanged from the last time. I changed his wristbands into gloves and gave him a harness/holster thing, for no reason other than I think it looked cool and added a bit more to the design.

As member of the dark guild Basilisk Kane served under abusive guild master Bo. after Haru and friends stumbled upon the guild Kane reluctantly joined with them to put a stop to Bo's plans. After all the guild members where arrested including Kane but due to his actions in helping bring down the guild Kane was offered a chance to join a team of reformed criminals that worked for the Magic council doing job's to reduce the prison time. serving his time with the Magic council Kane reduced his sentence to the point he was a free man once again.
He quickly decided that he wanted to join a guild and knew exactly which one. a guild currently run by the man that founded the branch of the Council to which Kane had just left. the guild was Mythic cross.
Magic
Magic; Metal Make
Kane's magic allows him to create object out of metal. his creations are usually weapons that he uses to fight with although he can make other things too. he favours non-blades weapons like clubs and bats. when fighting against Haru Kane mostly uses knuckle-dusters or full gauntlets preferring to fight hand-to-hand. one of his most powerful spells is his "Metal Make: Wreaking ball" in which he creates a large solid ball of metal on a chin and hurls it at his opponents.
Kane also has the ability to make most metals magnetic allowing him to move metal objects around. by making the metal in his boots magnetic he can walk on metal surfaces with ease and even walk along ceilings if they are metal.

Technically speaking, it's called iron-make magic.

yeah, he uses Metal-make.
it would only be iron-make if he made items from iron. he can make thinks from various different metals.

Wait a second. Would Gajeel still be able to eat all that metal, if not all of it is iron?

I'm not sure. if his teeth are able to bite iron it could be assumed he would be able to bite through other metals.
with his magic being able to use iron maybe he could still physically eat other metals but maybe he wouldn't get the magic boost from it like he normally would.

We can both agree on the bad taste.
But when I consider it, I'm not so sure about the lack of benefit.
Gajeel did gain some kind of boost when he took a bite of Dorma Anam tail (i think he got it mixed up with slowpoke tail XD).

Question! When in the Fairy Tail Timeline does Kane have this look?
Asking because I'm working on one of your open collabs and the character I want to use has some drastically different looks throughout the timeline

I'm not really sure. one of the main reason that I made the mythic cross guild was so my characters weren't restricted by what happens in the main storyline. I guess for reference sake I would say that my main story would take place during the 7 year time skip tho I never really planned it out. so really you could use whatever version you want.

I kinda have this thing for continuity as well. it just always in the back of my head that since they are my characters the don't exist in the main story so they can't affect what is happening. good thing with FT is I can just make them part of another guild and problem solved.
