I live in a real rural area I deal with copperheads mostly I don't walk around with a Glock though pair of steel toes is better protection from getting bit

love the perspective and the crop.
I was kinda shocked at the gun and as another commenter asks "why the gun?", but after looking at it for a few minutes... the gun is disturbing and in that--- adds tension, much more so than the snake. You're not really sure why he has it and that lets the imagination attempt an answer. The gun really gives the image a completely different feel compared to it not being there.
