This is the cover/title page of the folktale I illustrated this semester. The Stonecutter is a Japanese folktale about a greedy man who gets whatever he wants until he realizes that obtaining anything he wills brings no satisfaction.

I chose to make everything look polygonal and angled as if made of stone blocks.
