The page from one of barely recovered tomes, found in the archives of once known Academy, which studied The Nine Ancients and their followers, known as "mortus". Because of lost knowledge during events of Kraorak, all that we can confirm is that mortus can be discribed as cleansers.

By operating with data, wich was gathered from that time. mortus' are summoned to seek and gather the dark energy and elements. wich are sewn from darkness. If try to read the meanings of text literaly, they spew (probably?) light enegry from themselves. Is that a role in maintaining the balance? Or a whim of a god they serve?
