The whole time I envisage weird and wonderful places that unfortunately exist only in my mind. I dreamt of this one last night and it stuck, so I decided to draw it.I'm not really sure if I like this, as I got a little frustrated with it and it isn't as very well detailed as I imagined it before I started...

i want your dreams... mine are all horrible or dont make sense. its all about repetition...
i love the colours... i like the scale too... maybe you should make the light coming from above more directional? it feels like its going a bit random... but then it kind of goes with the style... probably way too late for you to want to do anything anyway now... still looks good..

You have said that it has stuck with you and you didn't like the turn-out? I do notice that some people draw what they think is there. Maybe you should try to just let your brain and hand draw in harmony and don't think about it. I have done so also. From my perspective, I think that this is of someone who was in need of a secret and calming place to think and wonder. Wonderful job.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I was so captivated by the memory that I wanted to recreate it as well as possible so I could be there again (it had really wierd atmosphere that was kinda cool).

So that was photoshop? I only have paintshop pro, but my teacher's giving me the newest adobe photoshop to install, but hush hush xD

I used Corel Painter for most of it and the odd touch up in photoshop CS...

It very good for digital painting (much better than photoshop) as it is designed soley for painting and mimicing real mediums etc...
