*scrolling scrolling scrolling* phew! Lots of comments to jump over... I like the angle of the photo and the one bright light from the street lamp. It reminds me of late nights/early mornings walking through empty streets, lonely. I can imagine seeing my breath as the only moving thing around.

Thank you. I love walking around late at night with noone around. In fact, it's ten past three am right now, and after I'm done here, I'm going for a walk. Anyway. yes, too many comments on this one. I'm thankful for them all, but I never expected it. I didn't really want to submit this one. I thought it looked too "chic" or "trendy." So in order not to be labeled trendy I titled the piece as such. Every day I get more comments on this piece and sometimes I get none on my new works. This DA is a crazy place. But anyway, thanks for your comment.

It's a good starter digital camera. You can't change the lens, and the fstop is biggest 2.8-3.5, but I really can't complain. It's an awesome camera. Small, all manual or auto, very decent. I'm guessing the 7 hi will be even better.
I haven't looked too much into it, but cannon has a new Rebel Digital. It's an actual SLR for under two grand. You might want to look into that first.

...somewhat bleak and foreboding...the flare seems a critial piece to the composition too which is pretty cool...i like this one a lot...
...but i think perhaps what little color exists is more distracting than anything...
...have you tried desaturating it to see what it looks like in straigtht B&W?

a photo like that deserves the time to be looked at, and some power from it puts that echantment in the sadness. I don't think you can get as much from this in a short glance asyou can from a longer meandering thought.

The lighting is great, makes for a strange atmosphere. The lights themselves are awesome, the "stars" are really crisp, as the rest of the pic. The only thing that's a bit off is the white car at the end of the street, its like "look at me, im white and fucking up everything!" Well its not fucking up everything, the pic is still great, makes me want to buy a digital camera. *wishes money could grow on trees*
btw, the angle is good, adds a lot to the pic.

The starry outcome of the streetlights are fantastic - they really add that extra something to the picture, which, by the way, I like in itself. There's something about an empty street late at night...so peaceful with a touch of the eerie.
Someone comented before on the borders being wrong, and I'm inclined to agree, but if it's part of a series, then who am I to judge what's more suitable? I'm off to your gallery to have a look at the rest.
