alright seriously, how many hours do you have into this?
It would probably take me an unreal amount of time to do this unless I was using actual paint.

It's really hard for me to give an exact time. I tend to work in small bursts, then get distracted by the internet or other work and ideas. I'd be willing to say maybe 8 real hours?

Thats not bad - I feel like any work that takes the equivalent of one work day (for those non artists who have a 9-5 job), or maybe two, isn't bad at all.

Considering I do have a 9-5 non-art related job (well 4am-1) Usually it takes me way to long to finish a piece, because I'm so tired when I get home. But don't let time be a factor in your judgment of a piece. I've seen some artists scribbles that make me want to cry, and some month long paintings make me weep.

Indeed, there is an artist on here who does insane work on their lunch break.. 30 minutes to pull off a piece that's "art book" quality - makes me think "why do I have to suck?"
But, my good finished drawings usually have merit to them.

Hehe I'll tell you what I tell everyone else - my gallery is digital stuff and sketches - definitely not representative of my actual skill level
But yea, painting wise I'm not up there yet so I do need to practice!
