I guess I'm fixated on classic arcade gaming at the moment. Here's Pacman, I had a hard time making this one interesting, heh... But when it came around to making the background I had an idea to make it a window into the real world, outside of the arcade cabinet itself. And who better to be playing Pacman than Billy Mitchell.Related content

I don't know why no one wants to draw an arms and legs Pac-Man. Even in his arcade days he was supposed to have them.

I purposefully chose not to draw them to have it relate better with the in game sprites, especially with the background I chose. But I was thinking about it, I really was, I even chose to leave the arm rings on the side of Pacman.
I was contemplating the arms for the ghosts too... I guess I made the wrong choice.

He was the first person to have a perfect game of Pacman. He also has the highscore in Donkey Kong which was a result of an intense competition with Steve Wiebe. Watch the documentary 'the King of Kong', it's a fantastic film and it highlights these two gamers.
