"Can you tell him, softly
How youβll always understand him ?
Can you help him ?
Hold him ?
Come to him now, slowly ?
Can you caress him, smoothly
Calm his fears and soothe him
Move your hands across him
Take his worries from him ?
Can you feel him, solely ?
Deeper still and wholly
With your understanding
And your arms around him ?
Can you help him, hold him
Whisper to him, softly
Move your hands across him
Take his worries from him ?
He will sacrifice, he will sacrifice
All he has in life to clear his conscience ... "

Part of me thinks this should be placed in photo journalism.
This is raw and real. I love it.

Really good and meaningful concept with this one. There are indeed so many who just walk by, ignoring those around themβ¦ Not looking perhaps for the fear of what they might find. Just not caring enough to, maybe everyone can feel a little pang and twist of something with that. They are these pictures/photos that make you think. That make you wonder. I love the two shot one, in the first nobody is taking notice and in the second you are taking notice, and so is the person sitting there. And especially in the firstβ¦ the blurry haziness, distortion of the passer-bysβ faces, I like that effectβ¦ It seems to be symbolic and speak for itself. Having this in black and white scale makes it particularly effective, I think. Meaningful photography!

Wow, thank you! I'm hoping at some point to do a whole series like this one, and then to contrast it with photos of the hyper rich. A (sort of) photo essay highlighting contrasts in different sections of human life/nature. Not sure when I'll get the time though!
Glad you liked it, anyway.

I think it'd be better if it were just one photo or the other. But i like the way it seems that he's turning his head towards you.
