SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2 SPOILERS BELOW
LORD. The final galaxy of the game, Grandmaster Galaxy, is a pain in the butt!
I finished the first mission, which was to simply (haha...) complete the galaxy.
Well, once you get the Grandmaster's Comet Medal and put 9999 starbits into the bank, you unlock the DAREDEVIL COMET mission for Grandmaster Galaxy. The comet mission is titled "The Perfect Run".
UGH. I can't beat the 2nd mission at all. I can get the final platform with the 3 Boomerang Bros., but then they kill me. It makes me angry...
So this drawing was a way to vent out my frustration...it shows the very first "planet" of the galaxy. You must use Yoshi to move from Flower Grapple to Flower Grapple while avoiding mines, paragoombas, Choppas, and Bullet Bills.
I have 241 stars. There are 242 stars in the game. THIS IS THE LAST STAR. I can't get it ;~~~;
EDIT 6-17-10 7:10pm I BEAT THE GAME! Im sweating. And trembling. I know. I'm lame. I almost died at the very end of Grandmaster. I had 2 of the Boomerang Bros. killed and the last one was on his shell. But a boomerang was coming at me left over from one of the bros. I BARELY dodged it. Beat it though. WHEW!!!

THE HARDEST LEVEL IN MARIO HISTORY! All those obstacles, enemies, and sheer insanity. Not only does one hit mean death, but for The Perfect Run, NO CHECKPOINTS! One hit and you have to do the whole damn level from the beginning. Even Luigi's Purple Coin Chaos isn't NEARLY that frustrating.

I remember this mission, I hated it so much, it almost tempted me to destroy my wiimote and nunchuck after so many failures, difficulty is good when it challenges your skills but if you lose for even one hit and have to go all the way back, it just makes me want to not play that mission ever again.

I've just beaten the Grandmaster Galaxy too and my nerves are still trembling for completing it. This reminds me of Canary Mary race in Banjo-Tooie at world 8 Cloud Cuckooland. Her race was HARD as hell!

You don't need 9999 star bits for The Perfect Run, I think. In fact I had like over 9000 (NOT THE MEME) starbits after I beat The Ultimate Test.

In my opinion, I think certain aspects of SMG2 are definitely more challenging than the first game.

World 3 is one of my favorites. Mainly because of it's awesome sky xD;
I also like to complete a galaxy as much as possible before moving onto the next.
Just wait until you get to the Grandmaster Galaxy. You'll be SO EXCITED.......

all 242. Im trembling. I CAME SO CLOSE TO DYING at the very last part of Grandmaster. I have a killer headache. I'm going to go punch a baby.

skfhaksgsdgdj Grandmaster is the spawn of the devil. No. Grandmaster IS the devil. They should rename it "The Revenge of Nintendo Galaxy". Whoever designed that level needs to be shot because they caused severe damage to my self esteem and mental stability.
