Aurora, or Briar Rose it the first lady in this collection. I never really imagined doing Disney ladies, but now that I’ve started I can’t help myself!
Aurora is, in my opinion, possibly the most “day-dreamy” of all the Disney Princesses. (I mean her and Snow White are the two that sing and dance through the forest with woodland creatures.) So I wanted to give her that look of someone dreaming of something greater. Nearly every fashion choice for Aurora was based on her pink to blue changing gown in the movie. Because her dress changes between the two throughout the movie I gave her a modern dress that is two dresses in one. I always liked her Briar Rose look best though, so I kept the dress color more neutral rather than a bright pink or blue.
Her two-toned hombre hair is also based on her color changing gown. But for a hint of color I gave her a light blue purse. (My favorite of her pink/blue gown)
She is a natural born Princess born in a castle; however she was raised in the complete opposite circumstances, so I imagined her in a casual sort of red carpet dress. Something that can be worn to a big even or even a nice brunch.
