It’s time for the Mistress of all Evil!I was going to save Maleficent for my last Truly Evil Transformation, but with all the excitement of her new feature film opening, I couldn’t hold off working on her. She is the seventh addition to this collection. She is however based on the original version rather than the new live action. I had a lot of fun working on her. I started sketching her back in Feb 2013. She just kept evolving. (And my skills using Photoshop did as well) I wanted this piece to be filled with her wrath yet I wanted her to still remain beautiful.The scale details of her headpiece I had a long time ago and originally used in another pieces I did when I was teaching myself how to use Photoshop.

Her horns are detailed with crocodile skin. Her globe is actually detailed with a frog egg.
As I was designing her dress/cape, I played with the idea that as she walked and moved her wardrobe had a kind of smokey, disintegrating or disappearing effect. Kind of like the dementors from Harry Potter.
