i havent seen many of the anime eather but i have read alot of the manga,
the character means 'love' and Gaara means ' A deamon that loves only himself '
i think thats pretty spot on,
but if you have the time, naruto is one of the few great anime titles out there so check it out
its been licensed now so i guess it wont be too long before its out and dubed over here
