That x-ray is quite ominous. I love the contrast between her and the background it's so (not sure if this word sounds right) sharp.

All I can say is WOW!! Its an amazing concept, carried off amazingly! Just out of interest, Did you use a Lastolite HiLite background for this shot?

Thanks, kudos to the model for the initial idea (and of course her x-rays!).

The background was just white paper with a couple of softboxes on it turned up high enough to bleach it and also flare a bit back into the camera. I also dodged the edges of the legs and hands a bit to bleach them further.

this is amazing when I shot Sir Integra she told me about her ribs and the rods in her spine so its awesome to see them made into art like this.
I love the combination of xray with her hair, almost like the xray gave her a shock. and the white backdrop is wonderfully exposed to accentuate her

Thanks, the x-rays are quite remarkable, seems quite fitting to use them in a shot like this.

We were aiming for the idea of the energy of the x-ray blasting through her, hence the insane hair. I did debate adding some rays or electric sparks but in the end it looked best kept simple.

then your concept definetly worked and I think it looks much better without the sparks, the idea comes through on its own
