Day fifteen, our most obscure redesign yet for the Fantastic four redesign ABC’s
O is for OCCULUS
Occulus is a rare example of a character the Fantastic Four faced that had a lot of potential, but got dropped after a handful of appearances.
He even holds the title of being the first person to kidnap the fantastic fours kids, something that wasn’t really played up for the proper amount of fear at the time but could be RIPE for drama now. His design is a little…well, you can see for yourself. I put a few of the original designs for Occulus in along with my design for comparison.

He has such a weird power set, he’s a mutant technically, and he can derive energy and/or power from specific gems, so he just went and shoved one into his damn eye and all of a sudden he’s ruler of everything. nuts, gotta love it.
