I like that he is attractive in this rather than creepy and lecherous. You gotta figure that a guy who can reshape his face however he wants would likely have the idea at some point to make himself handsome... especially since he is aware of how abrasive his personality can come off to people. This way he gets to be as annoying as he wants and the public perception is still in his favor.
