Shadow Stalker is a villain from the old Shang Chi comic series. He was one of the most memorable because of his unique appearance. For reasons I don't understand, the character was given lemon-yellow skin. This might have been a call back to the racist Asian caricatures seen in comics of the 1930s and 40s, the most of the Asian characters had the same coloration as their Caucasian counterparts. It was a bizarre choice, and Shang Chi was given an odd orange coloration in this period. I've updated him to give him a more human looking complexion. It also borrowed the facemask from a character in Batman: Soul of the Dragon. Uncomfortable, artistic choices aside, the most striking feature of this character is his unique weapon. While it looks cool, I don't think there would be any safe way to use it. The friend used to joke that all you would have to do to defeat Shadow Stalker is get him to shake his head no.
