When I say dislike, I mean that I had no interest in them at first and then they gradually grew on me overtime. Some more than others.

Dipper Pines x Pacifica Northwest (Gravity Falls)

This ship actually existed before Northwest Mansion Mystery, but there was really nothing built upon it so it didn’t do anything for me. Of course after that episode aired, the ship’s popularity blew through the roof. The fandom was taken by surprise by how great these two could work together and I’m no different. They’re now one of my all-time OTPs in any cartoon.

Flash Sentry x Twilight Sparkle (MLP: Equestria Girls)

They didn’t seem to have any real chemistry in the early parts of the series. However, they did seem to genuinely care for each other and had some funny moments. So I have a soft spot for these two even though there are other pairings involving both of them that I like more.

Rarity x Applejack (MLP: Friendship is Magic/Equestria Girls)

I only low-key ship them now, but I use to not care for them at all. It’d be difficult for it to work out between them and it’s not my first shipping choice for either one of them, but the more they managed to put up with each other, the more they grew on me a little.

Bobby Santiago x Lori Loud (Loud House/Casagrandes)

Upon first impression, these two seemed like just a typical teenage couple. The more I watched them, though, I realized they were way more than that. To me, their over-the-top devotion to one another makes it seem that they believe they won’t find anyone better for each other and is meant to parody teen romance in a good way.

Lincoln Loud x Stella Zhau (Loud House)

At first, this pairing seemed a little too simple for my liking and didn’t captivate me as much as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne. And even though I still lean bit more towards those two, Lincoln and Stella proved to have a nice, easy dynamic despite being simple.

Rigby x Eileen (Regular Show)

Didn’t do anything for me at first, but when they grew closer together, they proved to be more adorable than they seem. They are by far the best couple in the show.

Varrick x Zhu Li (The Legend of Korra)

The whole rich guy and his assistant pairing doesn’t do anything for me unless it eventually shows that there’s more to them than that like it did with these two. People have called them the Tony Stark and Pepper Potts of the Avatar universe and that comparison fits perfectly.

Marceline x Bubblegum (Adventure Time)

Another ship that was popular before it was canon. I slowly warmed up to it as they interacted more and was satisfied when they made it official in the finale.

Darwin Watterson x Carrie Krueger (The Amazing World of Gumball)

I initially thought these two wouldn’t work, but when they became an actual thing on the show through some nice chemistry, I was proven wrong.

Duncan x Zoey (Total Drama)

I was once not interested in shipping them due to both being in relationships that weren’t that enjoyable. After rewatching their interactions in All Stars (a decent part in the midst of that disappointment), I felt that they’d be a good match. They’d certainly be more interesting than the relationships they’d already been in.
