A blissful friend from the Látrabjarg cliffs in Iceland western fjords, an amazing and peaceful place where you can meet these really small birds on a very short distance (this picture was taken with a macro lens of 105mm). While this photo wasn’t the first taste of the originality inspired interpretations – bright colours that tapped funk up for its number before forgetting to call it back; snapping nature lovers unleashed before the world caught up with the parlance – it was the most perfect distillation of everything that’d come before it.
The photo is one of many artists capable of crafting a widescreen and wholly organic-sounding world. Sweet combination of popping bokeh and almost vivid tones gives the viewer a positive summer atmosphere.
And that, in essence, is what the photo is all about: carry on or abandon the dream? Even watching with eye half-cocked the answer sounds resolute.
