The coloration in the ice and the background in general are phenomenal. It makes it seem like it was hand drawn with such great detail when an amazing picture. You need to keep stuff like this up it is absoulutley breath taking on how crisp and clean it looks and I look forward to seeing more amazing pictures that will take my breath away. Just curious though how high above the climbers was the shot taken and how did you get it to look so colorfull? I do wish to know if thats really how it looks when you look

Thanks a lot for your nice critique on this picture. I took it two years ago and I was not so high. I mean I took it with a 17-50 lens something like 50m higher than the first ice elements. About the color, it was really amazing. I enhanced it while simply using saturation, but I think my picture doesn't make the best this great icefield. I wish you could go there too, it's just breathtaking.

I'd love to see this in person! Truly the immensity must be hard to grasp without seeing it firsthand!
