I *adore* all your merman/pirate pieces. The colours and poses are so whimsical and sweet, but they still somehow manage to break my heart a little. In a really good way. AndΒ this one in particular. I feel like I could sit here and stare at it all day. Their expressions, and the curve of that big beautiful tail, and the beards, and the muscles, and the tattoos-- unf. I have no words.

The subtle sketchiness of the lines give it an awesome texture (such as in the arm/chest hair) and it contrasts well with the smoothness of the facial/head hair! I especially love how the tattoos on the guy on the right look flattened with the sudden roundness from the shine on his face. I bet it would be amazing to see what would happen if you pushed both those elements further with some dramatic colors and deeper shading! Very sweet scene, too, it definitely gives off a flirty attitude!
