this is the enter at the most horrible place, where nobody can understand if men could do lots of things like this....The biggest lie of all times ARBEIT MACHT FREI (Work makes free) in the centre of the picture...
we were here to visit in March 2006 during our school twinning with Poland
in the name of all the poor people, who lost their lives here....
for the hope that something will never happen again

Well, arbeit macht frei kinda makes sense. If they worked, they died. Isn't that a form of freedom? For them it was, at least. It's a riddle of sorts, really.
