This is my half of the art trade I had going on with , she wanted Harry and Melfina from Outlaw Star, an old, but from what I saw of it, good, anime. She wanted them in gothic-esque, aristocrat, lolita drag. So here it is!

It's not something done consciously I think but we always work that bit harder on something for someone we're close to don't we?
This extra effort is evident in this piece and I think you should be proud.
But ah, this world we live in is expansive and expensive and sometimes difficult to travel, however it's also a world of infinate possibilities so one never does know. It would be well mega sweet

You made Melfina look so freaking cute! I really love your take on her hair! I find that her hairstyle is really hard to look flattering, but you really made it look good! I love the color, too! And her dress, OMG, her DRESS! It looks so fantastic and detailed! 
And you made Harry look so dashing in his coat and huge neck ruffle (it's so him, it really is!
I love how you have them interacting! Their facial expressions are dead-on. So perfect!!!

i really wanted to get it done before you got home from work. i worked on it for awhile yesterday hahah! it took longer then i expected actually. 
i know harry and melfina are really important to you so i really wanted to get their personalities down right. harry i wanted to make look a little crazier, or sinister, but i think he's ok with the VERY subtle lunacy there haha! i'm happ you like the dress too! it was crazy hard to do but so worth it. i used some references for inspiration.
