Description
What to do on an overcast and drab day. Why photography of course. This is a three image exposure blend of +1, 0 and -1. I personally love the water movement created by the several waterfalls off the rocks. Contrasts well with the whole look of the shot. Forresters Beach is a gold mine of textures and vantage point like this one.

Very impressive and well thought out. Amazing. All the beauty of HDR without that unnecessary overly-processed look.

Thanks.. yea I am not a real fan of HDR, but the exposure blending lets you pull a further dynamic range than a single shot.

I had given up on HDR because everyone was taking the same approach with it. I heartily thank you for showing me that I was clearly mistaken.
I must try HDR again. I had been using a P&S that didn't like long exposures (too much inherent sensor noise), but I have upgraded my gear and I think it can now be a worthwhile effort. Your works, sir, are an inspiration!

The long exposure REALLY looks cool! Especially on the water!

Woah, I kinda want to get the PSD just to see all the little intricacies in the full resolution image.
Very nice.
