Very good skin - I like those sharp grey gradients, perfect are excentrictly placed buttons into those elipses, very good is the display and which is the best are those small blue details!

Very solid. The gradient grays are about as smooth as it gets. Something tells me this is going to be my winAmp skin for a good long while.

Is this incompatible with WA 5.05? I ask because on loading, WA displays the "Winamp Classic" theme. Please advise. Also note, other, much older skins, currently work in this version of Winamp.

In more ways than none, this skin is closer to being compatible with Winamp 5.05 because it has two windows that are common under the WA 5 format. [Video, Media Library] There of course is an incomplete version of a minibrowser that I didn't complete because I do not use the mb and it is not possible to use a Minibrowser when using the latest version of WA 5. So I can safely say that this skin is WA5 compatible.

Do you have any idea as to why it may not be installing correctly on my system? Windows XP Pro SP2, Winamp 5.05.. I've tried numerous times with failed results.

Not sure why. Are you using Internet Explorer? That could be your problem. Whenever I use IE and attempt to save the file, atleast with winamp skins, the .wsz file is missing the w and saves to your computer as .sz
Thats all I can think of as to why it doesn't work. If you have anymore problems I'll try to find an answer.

No, I'm using Firefox 0.9.3, I tried downloading your LXURYAMP skin and that worked perfectly, as it should.

me likes! I think it has a very wa5 feel too it. (maybe it's the cbutton layout). Lovely colors and i love the blue that just adds a bit of an egde. However, one small thing. I don't like the fact that the EQ menu overlaps the preset button. Shud have just left out the eq-menu maybe or perhaps made the preset button smaller.
Thumbs up for functionality, immediate appeal and subtle shinyness (compared to e.g. greentea).

you can't go far wrong with an all grey simple skin these days, this works well to my eye. Not too fussy without being boringly plain.

Hmm... There's something about this skin that seems... Not quite right. I think it's the displays vs the rest. The displays are really flat, and I don't think that goes well with the... "bevelled"? ...look of the rest of the skin. I don't know... The skins seems... Unbalanced? I also find the blue parts to be a bit distracting.
What I like about this skin is the menus on the Playlist, apart from the fact that they turn blue.

nah, just kidding, but you do need to get rid of them, they're not the same color blue as everything else, and they don't match at all.
