Hardly ever see the cargo haulers of B-tech. Most of the time they are referenced, they are usually merchant jumpships or large dropships like the Mammoth class. Good to see some variation.

True but here you get an econimy of scale, this lady can carry well north of 350k tons of cargo before you attach any Cargo Droppers to her. The unarmed pure cargo haulers can carry 400k + of cargo. And lets say you want to haul bulk stuff, factory equipment, heavy machine plant, parts for a worlds fusion powerplant, multi-meter long WarShip weapons etc. That's what these things are designed to do. Fluff wise she's going to be a Hegemony/Star League era design, mostly used by the Hegemony as part of D.O.M.E or as a bulk hauler, carrying the wealth of the Star League from world to world. Think of them as the Mearsk super-sized container ships you see. A DropShips a tramp hauler by comparison. This one here in Clan Snow Raven service is one of the few survivors and she's been retrofitted to serve as a mobile ore processing/refinement plant for asteroid mining.

A freighter type Jumpship exists in the canon, they're ships like the Carrack or others of that ilk and are WarShips that can move, otherwise its JumpShips and DropShips to do the vast majority of the haulage.

Yes she's a WarShip, like the Carrack, and her two huge cargo bays are designed to be modular and she can carry a mix of cargo's or have them outfitted to carry and fit other things. Basically if there's the room and weight, she'll carry it.
